Saturday morning in Chatsworth has a sound to it — a mower two streets over, a truck door, somebody's dog answering back. Jackson's Lawn Service is part of that soundtrack, moving through neighborhoods with mowing, string trimming, edging along the sidewalk seam and a full blow-down of drive and porch. It's ordinary work that people notice anyway; a fresh-cut yard changes the feel of an entire block. The smell of it hangs around most of the afternoon. By noon the route is finished and the street looks looked-after.
