About GrassRoots Turf

Down at the Etowah Mounds the river ground has been growing something for a thousand years, a good reminder that a lawn is only as good as what sits under it. GrassRoots Turf works from the soil up around Cartersville: core aeration to open packed clay, seed dropped into the holes, fertilization on the calendar and weed control before the summer annuals get going. Mowing, edging and trimming keep the top sharp while the roots do the slower work below. A fall-seeded yard that comes up thick and even in March, with no thin patches and no bare shade lines, is the payoff. Turf is a patient craft, and this town has ground worth working.
