About LA Lawns LLC

Look north from Canton in late October and the foothills are turning — the first ridges of the Blue Ridge going rust and amber, the air finally cool enough to work all day in. LA Lawns LLC takes the season as it comes here, mowing while the grass still wants it and then turning to the long fall work of clearing leaves out of the corners, off the beds, away from the fence lines where wind piles them. A yard raked and blown out in autumn has a particular openness to it, everything visible again, the turf breathing. The cut gets a little less frequent, the cleanup a little more, and the standard stays the same: nothing left half-done, nothing left in the drive. It is good work to be doing in Cherokee County in the best month of the year.
