About Galt Landscape Company

Macedonia is one of those Georgia places that gathered around a church and a crossroads and never asked to be more than that — pines, pasture, a few roads that all know each other. Galt Landscape Company keeps the lawns along them: mowing on a set week, edging drives and walks, trimming around posts and porch corners, clippings blown clear before the truck leaves. Out here a yard is the front of the house and the front of the family both, and it shows plainly when it is kept. Summer growth comes hard and fast after a rain, so the calendar matters more than the horsepower. By evening the cut yards stand out along the road, and that is the whole of the reward.
