About Cameron's Local Lawn Care Co.

Early on a Canton morning the fog comes up off the Etowah and lies in the low ground until the sun burns it back, and the first yards of the day are still wet enough to hold a footprint. Cameron's Local Lawn Care Co. starts in that hour, working the neighborhoods along the river and up into the streets of Cherokee County's county seat. Mowing here means reading the ground — the slopes, the tree roots, the shady patches under hardwoods that grow at their own stubborn pace — and cutting so a whole yard reads as one piece. The reward is small and real: an even lawn, a line trimmed tight around every post and stone, a drive blown clean before the truck pulls away. By the time the fog is gone, a street's worth of yards has been set right for the week.
