Redwood’s Lawn service

About Redwood’s Lawn service

March in Gordon County arrives with pear blossoms on the side streets and Oothkalooga Creek running loud under the bridges. That is when the trucks roll out for Redwood's Lawn service — first cuts of the year, blades set high, winter's mat of leaves raked out of the beds and hauled away. There is a particular pleasure in a yard's first mow: dull grass turns green by afternoon, and the line along the sidewalk comes back sharp as a pencil stroke. From then on Calhoun lawns stay on a rhythm — mowing, trimming, edging, cleanup — through the long stretch of growing weather that runs clear to October. Small work, done right, and the whole street reads better for it.
