About Brito's familia landscaping

On a May morning the air is still cool enough to smell of dew and warm soil before the heat sets in. Brito's familia landscaping plants and tends the yards around Calhoun — beds shaped and mulched, shrubs and flowers set where they will take the light, turf kept even up to the border. Late spring is a season of anticipation, everything waiting for the summer growth that makes the whole yard come on at once. Getting a property ready for that surge is craft: good edges, clean bed lines, plants given room to become what they will become. The reward comes months later, when a yard planted in spring is full and dense and looks like it has always been there. Work like that outlasts the day it was done.
