About Cairo Lawn & Garden

Broad Street catches the first pink light while Cairo is still cool, and the day's heat is a good hour off yet. Cairo Lawn & Garden keeps the yards of this Grady County seat mowed, edged and string-trimmed, with the walks cleared afterward so the concrete shows its own color again. Syrup City sits in a long growing season, and grass here runs hard from March into November, holding its color the whole way when it is cut on a steady rhythm. Under the old pecans, shade and surface roots ask for a lighter hand, so beds get tidied close and hedges kept to a shape that suits the house behind them. The reward is a simple one: the last pass lines up true with the first, and the yard reads as one whole piece from the road.
