Marsh Clearing and Excavation

About Marsh Clearing and Excavation

There is a particular kind of Georgia lot that gets away from you in one wet summer — grass to the knee, ditch line lost, edges gone soft and vague. Marsh Clearing and Excavation likes taking those on around Butler: bringing the mower through until the shape of the yard reappears, then edging the drive and walk, trimming the fence rows, and clearing the whole thing down. The first cut is loud and satisfying; the fourth is what keeps it that way, which is why the schedule sticks. The middle Georgia growing season runs long, from the green rush of March to the last mow after Thanksgiving. Turning a rough acre back into a lawn never stops being worth the sweat.
