By April the ballfields at Howard Coffin Park are green again and every yard in Brunswick decides at once that it is time to grow. Miller's Lawn Care meets that season with a straightforward round — mowing on a set week, edging drives and sidewalks, trimming along fences and around trees, clearing every clipping off the concrete before leaving. Bermuda and centipede both take to this coast, and each likes a different height, which is the sort of thing you learn by cutting a few thousand lawns. Nothing gets scalped and nothing gets skipped. The stripes run straight and the edges come out sharp, and that is the whole ambition.
