About the GroundsMen

Late winter around Brooklet is all pine and straw-colored turf, the flatwoods standing quiet until one warm week flips a switch and the yards green up almost overnight. the GroundsMen meet that turn with the mowers ready — cutting, edging, trimming the borders, and clearing clippings from walks and drives as the season builds. From that first spring flush through the long Bulloch County summer, keeping a lawn even is steady weekly work rather than a single afternoon. Done right, a yard reads calm: consistent height, a defined line at the concrete, nothing ragged where the grass ends. That is what a Brooklet street looks like when the yards along it are kept.
