Steinhour Services

About Steinhour Services

A red-tailed hawk works the thermals over the Broad River bottoms most clear afternoons, turning slow circles above pasture, pine and cut grass. Steinhour Services keeps the ground below it in order, mowing on a rhythm the season sets, edging drives and walks back to a defined line, trimming what the mower cannot square up. Hard rain, dry weeks, the sudden push of growth after a storm: the schedule bends to the weather rather than to the calendar, since that is what actually keeps a lawn even. Every visit ends with the clippings taken off the concrete and out of the beds. Ordinary upkeep, done attentively, in country that rewards attention.
