About W

Some names take a whole line; this one takes a letter. W keeps lawns in Blackshear on a plain schedule, mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and blowing a place clean before leaving it. A Saturday here is quiet enough to hear a mower two streets over, and that sound is most of what a well-kept neighborhood is made of. Grass grows nearly the whole year in this part of Georgia, so the work stays regular and the standard does not move. In town or just outside it, the finish is the same.
