About mrmowslawncare

Barney is a speck of a town in Brooks County, deep in South Georgia, where the roads run straight between cotton fields and pecan orchards stand in long, shady rows. In late fall the harvesters roll through those groves, shaking the trees until the nuts rattle down like hail on a tin roof. mrmowslawncare cuts grass in this flat, sandy country, where summers are long and sultry and the lawns keep growing until a hard frost finally calls a halt. The work is plain and satisfying, a yard shorn level, the edge along the road shoulder cut straight, the clippings cleared away so nothing spoils the line. Out here a neat lawn is a kind of hospitality, a quiet welcome to anyone turning in off the highway.
