A Brothers Edge

About A Brothers Edge

An edge is a small promise — the exact place where grass stops and concrete begins, held straight the whole way to the street. A Brothers Edge works that line across Bainbridge in the fat part of June, when Bermuda puts on an inch between visits and the heat is already sitting heavy by ten in the morning. Mowing, trimming and edging go together: cut it even, run the walks clean, blow the drive off so the finish shows. Come back a week later and do it again, because down here the growing doesn't take a day off until frost. A yard that holds its shape straight through summer is worth the early start.
