About Next Door Lawn Care

In Attapulgus the growing season runs long — grass down here is still asking for a cut when much of the country has already gone quiet. Next Door Lawn Care works the yards along US 27 and the pine-shaded lots off the county roads, mowing early while the damp still holds the clay dust down. Edges get cut clean against the drive, the trimmer takes the fence line and the mailbox post, and the walk gets blown off before the truck moves on. In the deep heat of a southwest Georgia July, a yard that has been kept — even and green under the pecan shade — is its own kind of cool. Come fall there are leaves and fallen limbs to haul, beds to tidy, one last tightening-up before the mild Decatur County winter. Small, steady work, done close to home, for people who see the result every time they pull in.
