About All Turf

The old oaks along Milledge lay so much shade over Five Points that grass there has to be coaxed rather than commanded. All Turf takes Athens lawns on their own terms, mowing at a height the season calls for and trimming close around root flares and brick borders instead of scalping past them. June is the surge month, when a skipped week shows plainly in the shag, so the cut goes back in on time. Edges get run sharp along the sidewalk, then the whole surface is blown back onto the turf where clippings do the most good. Under all that canopy the yard still reads as deliberate.
