Escutia’s lawncare

About Escutia’s lawncare

Armuchee Creek carries the cool air down the valley at first light, and for one hour the ridges on either side are nothing but outlines. Escutia's lawncare is loading up in that hour — spring in Floyd County means grass climbing an inch every couple of days, and the season, not the calendar, sets the schedule. Mowing, string trimming, edging, and cleanup after: each yard finished before the day turns heavy. The pleasure is in the last look back, a lawn cut level as water and the trim pulled tight around every post and stone. From Armuchee down toward Rome and out through Shannon, they run the valley road.
