Muckalee Creek runs west of town under a canopy of cypress and gum, blackwater sliding along so slowly it looks like it's thinking. Muckalee Landscaping takes its name from that water and its work from the county around it — landscaping and lawn care, mowing, trimming, edging, bed shaping, mulch and pine straw, brush and debris cleared away. Creek-bottom land grows fast and grows everything, which is why the calendar barely lets up between March and November.
