Southern Pine Landscapes & Design

About Southern Pine Landscapes & Design

Ailey sits in the onion country between the Ohoopee and the Altamaha, where the sand runs pale under the pines and the fields go glassy with irrigation come spring. Southern Pine Landscapes & Design works the yards of that landscape — mowing, trimming, edging, keeping beds cleared and walks blown off after every pass. Montgomery County ground grows grass fast and dries fast, so a lawn here shows the difference between attention and neglect inside of a week. There is a quiet pleasure in the finished picture: mowed green set against dark pine, the edges holding their line all the way to the road. Ailey, Mount Vernon, Vidalia and the neighbors nearby are all a short ride.
