AandL Yard

About AandL Yard

Lofton Creek runs tea-dark and unhurried under the bridge east of town, and on the mornings when mist is still lifting off it, AandL Yard is already unloading in Yulee. The work is mowing, edging and trimming — plain words for the thing that turns a shaggy yard back into a place you want to stand in. By the time the sun clears the pines, the clippings are blown off the drive and the line along the walk runs straight as chalk. Nassau County grass grows hard from March to October, and a lawn here wants somebody who keeps coming back rather than somebody who visits. That steady return, week on week, is the whole of it.
