Mid Florida Lawn

About Mid Florida Lawn

Winter Haven sits up on the sand ridge that runs down the middle of the state, high dry ground where water vanishes an hour after it falls. Mid Florida Lawn works with that rather than against it: cutting a little taller through the hot months so the roots keep their own shade, edging clean where turf meets driveway, trimming the strips no deck will ever reach, and clearing the cuttings off the concrete. At noon in July the work is honest and the shade under a sabal palm is worth stopping for. Ridge sand can still carry a deep, unbroken green — it mostly wants a steady hand on the calendar.
