Purple Hippo Tree & Landscape Services

About Purple Hippo Tree & Landscape Services

The old live oaks of Windermere lean out over the lanes with Spanish moss hanging still in the heat, and the whole town lives in their shade. Purple Hippo Tree & Landscape Services works up in that canopy, thinning and shaping, taking deadwood out before the wet season tests it, removing a tree when its time has come and grinding the stump flush. Down at ground level the work turns to planting, mulching and shaping beds so a landscape reads as one piece from the road. A well-thinned oak lets light down to the grass and lets the wind pass through, which matters when the storms track in off the Gulf. Limbs get loaded out, beds tidied, and nothing is left behind but the light coming through.
