About Calhoun & Son's Lawn Care LLC

December mornings in West Samoset begin under a low river fog — the Manatee lies just north, and the damp hangs over the flat ground until the sun burns it off around nine. A route begun in that grey is a fine route: cool air, quiet streets, dew heavy enough that every cut line shows itself. Mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup fill the day from there, through West Samoset and out toward Palmetto, Ellenton and Bradenton. Winter grass grows slow and cuts clean, and a lawn kept through the dry months comes into spring even instead of patchy. The truck goes home dusty; the yards look like nothing ever bothered them.
