About Yankee Clipper Lawn Services

January is the month Venice opens its windows. The light comes in low and clear off the Gulf, the Myakka runs cool through the flatwoods east of town, and the grass finally slows to a pace a person can keep step with. Yankee Clipper Lawn Services keeps mowing, edging and trimming right through it, for houses lived in year-round and for the ones that stand quiet until fall. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut short in the dry season and left with a clean margin at the walk — the whole property reads as looked-after from the curb. When the summer rains come back, the routine simply tightens, and those same lines get held.
