About Turf Defenders FL

South of town the Alafia River runs dark and slow beneath the oaks, and the same sandy country that feeds it grows the turf on every street in Valrico. Turf Defenders FL treats that turf as the thing worth protecting: cut high enough in summer that St. Augustine can shade its own roots, blades kept sharp so the tips heal instead of tearing, edges held true along walks and drives. Clippings come off the pavement and stay on the lawn, where they do some good. The hot, wet months are hard on grass, and a careful weekly cut is the simplest defense there is. Do it right and the lawn wins the summer.
