About Creative Outdoor Design

Under the big live oaks around Umatilla the light falls in coins, and the grass beneath grows thin and particular, asking for a lighter touch than the open yards need. Creative Outdoor Design reads a lawn that way: where to raise the deck, where to trim by hand, where leaf litter has to be cleared before a mower ever starts. The work is mowing, edging, trimming and yard cleanup, shaped to the yard rather than run straight over the top of it. In fall the oaks let go and the ground work doubles, and they keep after it. What is left is shade, order, and a lawn that suits the trees standing over it.
