About BC Designs

Winter is the honest season on the Fairpoint Peninsula. The centipede goes tawny, the sun runs low and sideways off Santa Rosa Sound, and with the color gone you can finally see a yard's bones — where a bed line wanders, where a hedge has crowded a window, where a walk needs a border. BC Designs works from those bones outward, laying out beds with a shape that will still make sense in July, then keeping the lawn cut, edged and trimmed so the design has something clean to sit in. Mulch goes down, plantings get pruned to scale, and the transitions between grass, bed and pavement get drawn on purpose. By the time spring green floods back across Tiger Point, the lines are already set and the yard simply fills them in.
