Alyssa's Lawn Care

About Alyssa's Lawn Care

By two o'clock on a June afternoon the thunderhead is already stacking up white over the flatwoods east of town, and everyone working outdoors in Thonotosassa is watching it. Alyssa's Lawn Care plans the route around that clock — the open sunny lots cut first, the shaded ones saved for when the sky gets serious. Mowing here in the wet season is a weekly promise, because grass fed by daily rain will swallow a walkway in a fortnight if nobody keeps after it. Edges are re-cut, string-trimmed corners squared up, and the drive swept clean so nothing washes into the street when the rain finally lets go. There's a particular pride in finishing a lawn just as the first fat drops land and the whole yard goes green as a held breath.
