About JD Tropical Landscapes

The neighborhood takes its name from the hardwood hammocks that once stood here, and in June the royal poincianas still throw a red ceiling over half the streets. JD Tropical Landscapes keeps the ground beneath them — mowing, edging, trimming around gumbo limbo and palm bases, sweeping blossoms off the walk when they drop. Tropical lawns sit under shifting light all day, and matching the cut to the shade is most of the skill. Each visit closes with the drive and entry cleared so the color stays on the tree and not on the concrete. The yard ends up looking calm, which under all that bloom is an achievement.
