About Tim Matthews Tree & Landscaping Inc.

Old Tavernier still keeps its low coral rock houses along the side streets, with the Overseas Highway humming a block away and the sea somewhere behind every hedge. Tim Matthews Tree & Landscaping Inc. tends the yards in that pocket of the island — mowing, edging, trimming around trunks and walls, and clearing what falls. Keys ground gives grass little to work with, so an even, well-shaped lawn out here takes deliberate hands. There's something satisfying about a small island yard brought back to order in a single morning: the edge cut, the walk clear, the shade doing its work overhead. That is the whole job, done plainly and done through.
