Lawn Stars and Beyond

About Lawn Stars and Beyond

The trailers roll out of north Tampa while it is still dark, headlights on the two-lane, the last stars going out over the pasture edges past the county line. Lawn Stars and Beyond starts there and works south into the day — mowing, edging, string trimming, cleanup and general yard care until the light goes long again. Early hours are the best hours in this state: dew on the blades, the mower cutting clean, and no heat yet to argue with. The "and Beyond" covers what a yard actually needs beyond the cut, from bed tidying to hauling the pile out of the side yard. By the time neighbors are getting their mail, the place looks like it was tended overnight by something patient.
