Dew sits on a Tampa lawn for about an hour after sunrise, long enough to show every footprint and every place where the roots have not gone deep. My Organic Turf works from the ground up on that problem — building healthy turf through soil and root care alongside the regular mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup. Sandy ground drains fast and forgives nothing, so the aim is grass that can hold its own through a rainless April and a drowning July. The reward comes slowly and then all at once: a lawn that springs back underfoot and holds an even color across the whole yard. Kneeling down to check a root line is a different pleasure than a clean edge, but the two belong to the same job.
