Green Roots

About Green Roots

This town was planted before it was built — Temple Terrace took its name from the Temple orange, and the grove came first, laid out in long rows across sandy high ground. Green Roots works in that lineage, the slow kind of lawn care that thinks below the surface: mowing and edging on a rhythm, trimming, weed control in the turf, mulch worked into the beds, cleanups as the year asks for them. Around the old stucco houses with their arches and iron-railed porches, a lawn is part of the architecture and deserves to be kept that way. Roots take time, and so does turf that thickens instead of thinning. The aim is a yard that gets better the longer it's tended.
