About Alfonso's Lawn and Landscaping

West Tampa turns amber around six o'clock, light coming in low across the chain-link and setting the bougainvillea on fire along somebody's back fence. Alfonso's Lawn and Landscaping knows these blocks by the yards — which one grows a jungle after a wet week, which one holds a shape all month, which corner lot the neighbors watch. The work is mowing and edging first, then the string trimmer along fences and posts, hedges brought back into line, beds weeded and topped with fresh mulch. Landscape jobs come too: new plantings, a bed reshaped, an overgrown corner opened back up to the light. A yard here is a front porch's view, and it deserves to look like somebody meant it.
