About Sergeant Smith Lawn Care, LLC

Centerville Road at first light is one of the prettiest drives in Florida, canopy overhead, mist sitting in the low spots, the day not yet hot. Sergeant Smith Lawn Care, LLC is usually rolling by then, because the finest hours of a Tallahassee summer are the early ones. Passes run parallel and even, the edge along the drive is cut to a firm line, the trimmer catches every post and the mailbox, and the blow-down takes the remainder off the concrete. Order is the point of it: a lawn that looks intentional from the road. By mid-morning the truck is two neighborhoods on, and the first yard still looks done.
