The Lawn Johns

About The Lawn Johns

On the southwest side of town the neighborhoods run right up against the Apalachicola forest, and on a June evening the fireflies come out of that treeline as if the yard had invited them. The Lawn Johns work the daylight ahead of all that, mowing, edging, string trimming, then a blow-down that leaves the drive and the walk bare. Yards along the forest edge collect pine straw and fallen limbs the year round, so cleanup is half the job and never truly finishes. Recurring service holds the line between the woods and the lawn exactly where the homeowner wants it. Do a place properly and it holds all week, right up until the next pass.
