Draughon's Lawn Care

About Draughon's Lawn Care

Miccosukee Road at first light is a tunnel of oak and moss with red clay showing at every driveway cut, and the hills out that way roll more than people expect of Florida. Draughon's Lawn Care starts the day in that half-dark, dew still heavy, waiting on the grass to dry just enough to take a clean cut instead of a smear. Then it is mowing, edging, string trimming the slope where nothing else fits, and clearing leaf fall out of the beds. Along the canopy roads the yards run long and uneven, and holding an even height across a grade takes attention the whole way down. By mid-morning the light comes through the oaks in bars, and the finished lawns are the brightest thing under the trees.
