About Cuttin' It Close Forestry Mulching & Land Services

Southwest of town the map goes green and stays green — the Apalachicola National Forest pressing up against the last of the subdivisions, palmetto and titi filling any acre left alone for a season. Cuttin' It Close Forestry Mulching & Land Services works that boundary, mulching brush and undergrowth back into the ground, opening overgrown lots and property lines, then keeping the cleared ground mowed and trimmed once it is usable again. It is heavier work than a weekly lawn, but the idea is the same at a larger scale: land you can walk across, see across, and use. Around the house the ordinary passes still matter — mowing, edging, hauling off what a storm knocked down. Watching a wall of scrub turn into open ground in an afternoon does not get old.
