About Summerland Tree Service, LLC

Everything on Summerland Key grows with one shoulder turned to the wind — the buttonwoods, the thatch palms, the gumbo limbo shedding its copper bark beside the driveway. Summerland Tree Service knows what island salt and shallow coral rock do to a root plate, and prunes accordingly: open the crown, take the weight off the leaning side, leave the tree something to hold with. Trimming on these Overseas Highway lots is close work, done with water on both sides and no room to be careless. After a blow, storm cleanup is the whole island's business — brush stacked, yards opened, the road handed back to itself. Removals happen when the salt has finally won, and even then the aim is a clean cut and a lot you'd want to sit in that evening.
