About Green Cut Lawn Care Inc.

St. Petersburg earned the name Sunshine City honestly, and on a clear morning the light lifts off Tampa Bay so bright it seems to ricochet from every white wall in the Old Northeast. Green Cut Lawn Care Inc. mows and trims in a city of brick streets and hexagon-block sidewalks, of bungalows with deep porches and yards that open toward the water. Down at Coffee Pot Bayou the mullet leap in the shallows and a pelican folds itself into a dive as the neighborhood wakes. Lawns here grow nearly all year in the warm maritime air, so the craft is one of constancy: a clean cut, a crisp line along the hex block, clippings swept back off the brick. By midmorning the yards look combed and groomed, and the whole street seems to stand a little straighter in the sun.
