Gerard's Tree Service

About Gerard's Tree Service

Saint James City hangs off the bottom of Pine Island with water on nearly every side — the Sound to the west, San Carlos Bay to the south, and a sunset that gets the whole island's attention. Gerard's Tree Service works the mangos, palms and oaks that make a yard livable out here, handling tree removal when salt and wind have finished a tree off and trimming and pruning that keep crowns light and canals and drives clear. An island finds out quickly which trees were kept up and which ones weren't. When a storm crosses, cleanup is the long job: down wood cut, carried off the island's narrow roads, yards handed back one at a time. There's real pride in giving a Pine Island yard back in one piece.
