Galvin's Lawn Care

About Galvin's Lawn Care

Spring Hill was laid out in the late 1960s as a long weave of curving streets and cul-de-sacs, so many lawns here bend around corners and wrap the fronts of houses in wide green arcs. Galvin's Lawn Care mows those shapes the way they were drawn, following each curve with an even cut and edging the long sweep of sidewalk where it bends. In October, when the humidity finally breaks and evenings come on cool and early, the grass slows and the lines of a kept yard stand out sharp in the low light. Trimming around mailboxes, light posts and shrubs, plus a clean sweep of the drive, rounds out each visit. Twilight on a Spring Hill curve, porch light on, lawn crisp to the curb: that is the picture the work is after.
