About Grove Tree Service & Landscaping

Before it was a city, this ground grew fruit — grove land laid out in rows — and South Miami still keeps that habit of green in the deep yards behind its houses. Grove Tree Service & Landscaping works those lots in the thick part of the year, when a June afternoon can hand over a downpour, twenty minutes of steam, and then blue sky again. Mowing and edging keep the turf disciplined; hedge and shrub trimming, bed cleanup and hauling keep everything else from closing in. Royal palms along Red Road throw their shadows out long by five, and the last yard of the day is the one that looks best. The rows are gone, but the straight lines survive.
