Florida Cut Above

About Florida Cut Above

Along State Road 46, Sorrento is a mix of newer neighborhoods and older homes set back on wide, sandy lots, and at seven in the morning the dew lies silver on all of them alike. Florida Cut Above is built around the cut itself: passes laid down straight, the turf left at a single height so the yard looks brushed rather than merely mowed. Edges along the sidewalk and curb get a crisp vertical line, and the trimmer tidies every spot the mower misses, from the mailbox post to the corner of the fence. Young sod in a new subdivision and established turf on an older lot get the same attention. There is a small daily satisfaction in pulling into a driveway framed by clean green lines, and that is what each visit aims to leave behind.
