L&J Trimming Services

About L&J Trimming Services

Morning comes off the Harris Chain as fog, low and silver, and burns away about the time the first mower turns onto a Silver Lake street. L&J Trimming Services works the yards that sit between those lakes, where the soil is sand and the St. Augustine runs thick when the rain has been kind. Mowing sets the field; the trimming is where a yard gets its shape, tight around the mailbox post, clean along the fence line, patient under the low limbs. The crew blows the drive and the walk clear so nothing but grass is left behind. Come evening, when the light goes long and orange over the water, the lines still read straight.
