About Velasquez Gardeners Landscaping

Winter is the working season for a gardener in Sewall's Point: the humidity backs off, the mosquitoes thin, and the beds finally sit still long enough to be shaped. Velasquez Gardeners Landscaping spends it in the planting beds and on the turf alike — mowing and edging, weeding and mulching, pruning shrubs, and keeping borders defined along drives that run down toward the water. Martin County soil is sandy and quick to drain, so mulch and steady attention do much of the heavy lifting. Kneeling to clear a bed by hand takes time no machine gives back, and the difference shows for months afterward. A garden held in order through the dry months is ready when the rains return.
