Jack's Lawn Services

About Jack's Lawn Services

Sandhill cranes stroll through Sebring's yards in pairs, stepping slowly across the grass and calling in a rattling voice that carries clear out over Lake Jackson. Jack's Lawn Services tends the lawns they wander through, keeping the turf mowed, the edges straight and the corners trimmed. In the Highlands summer, when thunderheads stack up over the lake nearly every afternoon, the grass will not wait, so the work keeps a steady cadence. Fallen oak leaves and storm litter are cleared along the way. Come evening, when the sun drops toward the lake and the light goes gold, a freshly kept yard is a fine place to stand and watch the cranes fly home.
