Just Another Wash

About Just Another Wash

White ibis wander across the lawns of Sea Ranch Lakes in loose, unhurried flocks, probing the turf with their curved bills, and they seem most drawn to a yard right after it has been cut. Just Another Wash keeps grass in this seaside village mowed even, trimmed along fences and around the bases of palms, and edged so the borders stay sharp. Ocean humidity and summer rain keep things growing for most of the year, and when October brings the first drier front down the coast, the lawns look their crispest in the clearer air. Clippings are swept from patios and front walks before the work wraps up. From the street the result is simple and calm: low green turf, clean lines, and a small town that looks as tidy as it is small.
