About Siesta Key Landscape

On Siesta Key the sand is quartz white and stays cool underfoot, and salt gets into everything, lawns included. Siesta Key Landscape works the island's crushed-shell drives and small bright yards, mowing and edging between sea grape hedges that never stop reaching for the walkway. Trimming is half the job out here — hold the turf back at the shell, keep it off the pavers, and take the cuttings away before the wind does it for you. Late in the afternoon, when the island starts drifting toward the beach for sunset, the yards left behind sit trimmed and still. That is the island version of this trade: neat edges under a great deal of sky.
